Despite working on my website all night, I was still able to wake up early for our fun plans for the day. A group of us decided to have one last beach day before we left. We all got up, ate some breakfast, grabbed snacks, and took an hour long bus ride to the Bogatell beach. On the bus ride, we all talked about our favorite parts of the trip and truly had fun finding different ways to entertain ourselves. We made finally got to the beach and it was EMPTY. It was cloudy outside and slightly rainy but the waves were huge and the water was still warm. It was perfect. I played with my friends in the water and sat in the sand and enjoyed the view. I even fell asleep wrapped up in my beach towel for a few minutes. It was truly the perfect beach day. My classmates were able to read, and sketch, and have fun with each other for one last perfect day at the beach.

We were at the beach for a few hours before deciding to grab lunch and head back to the hotel. We had a group dinner planned in a few hours so we wanted something light to keep us satisfied until them. They all decided on acai bowls. Even though I had it the day before I will never say no to acai so I gladly joined them. We grabbed our treats and hopped on the bus. The bus was pretty empty so we all sat next to each other and spent the hour long trip asking each other get to know you questions and truly bonding with each other.

The bus ride seemed to fly by since we were having fun. We were dropped off right by the hotel and all rushed back to rest from the fun morning before dinner. I took a long, warm shower to wash all the salt and sand off of my body and I stayed in bed for a while before getting dressed and ready. I put on a dress and some makeup and made my way downstairs to meet up with the group. Per usual, we hopped on the metro line towards the center of town for a fun dinner. The restaurant was so nice and we all felt pretty fancy. We enjoyed a long three course meal and sitting there is when the realization that I am leaving soon started to set in. I have loved this trip and even though I am ready to go home I am not ready to leave. I will miss this place so much but I cannot wait to be back in the comfort of my own home and go to Costco again.

"Travel changes you. As you move through this life and this world you change things slightly, you leave marks behind, however small. And in return, life - and travel - leaves marks on you. Most of the time, those marks - on your body or on your heart - are beautiful."
