July 22 & 23 - Magical Disney Weekend

I am going to cram two days into one post since there were so many things we did that are all a blur in my head. If you want specifics, please feel free to ask.
Saturday started off bright and early so we could hit the metro for our hour-long trip to a city called Chessy. I went with my friends Morgan, Audra, and Mia. We packed snacks for the ride and made our way over. We all ate and planned out the day and the things we needed to do. Saturday was designated to Disney Studios, the smaller of the two parks.
We got into the park and the lines were so short. We took pictures with the characters and rode all the rides multiple times. We spent the day walking around the tiny park and eating so many snacks in sight. We genuinely had an incredible time and I cannot even put into words how amazing it felt to enjoy Disneyland in another country.
Saturday night ended by going on our favorite rides one last time, shopping, and taking a long metro back to the hotel. I fell asleep on the ride back since I was drained from the excitement.
Sunday morning, we woke up to do it all over again. Morgan was a little under the weather so it was just me, Mia, and Audra at this park. The Tour de France just so happened to be coming through Paris today so many of the metros were down. We had to walk a little bit extra to get to our tram and so we would add extra time to our travels. Despite not being at the main Disney park right when it opened, we still got in quickly and explored.
The Disneyland Paris park is small but lovely. Some of the rides it has are better than the ones in the United States. I rode Space Mountain three times. We went on so many rides, ate so many snacks, saw a parade, and shopped around. Our night ended by watching the incredible drone light show followed by a beautiful firework display.
We ended our Disney weekend by rushing to the last metro train, taking a nap, and getting into bed as soon as we got through the doors of the hotel. It was utterly incredible and I had such a fun time.
I know this was a short post but Disney was truly a blur but in the best way possible. The lines were short and our spirits were high despite it being an exhausting weekend. Compared to the other two US Disney locations, this one was so much smaller and I’m sure we could have done both parks in a day. It was just a fun and whimsical way to end the trip and something I never would have done if I weren’t already in Paris. I had fun and that’s what matters to me.
